My journey into creativity began with my mother, an artist who constantly experimented with different techniques and materials—textiles, wool, leather, painting—you name it, she’s worked with it. Her passion for making inspired me from an early age. My father, though not a maker himself, has a deep appreciation for art. He often jokes that my creative instincts come from my mother, but my curiosity and “deep thinking” are his contributions. When he sees my jewellery, he credits my mother for the craft, but always adds with a laugh, “Turning a rusty nail into a ring? That’s from me.” I couldn’t agree more.

My first jewellery collection pays tribute to my Swedish heritage and draws inspiration from the celebrated Swedish illustrator "John Bauer". His work captures the essence of Swedish forests, with their mystical beauty and dreamlike depictions of fairy-tale creatures and landscapes. Bauer’s ability to evoke magic and mystery in his art resonated deeply with me, and I sought to translate those same feelings into my jewellery. Each piece reflects the enchanting and sometimes enigmatic aspects of nature, much like Bauer’s illustrations.
My second "Found Objects" collection was born out of a personal journey—renovating my first home, a space filled with character and history. While working on the house, I discovered a variety of forgotten objects, including a collection of old nails in the shed. These simple, utilitarian items captured my imagination, and I began to see them as symbols of the home’s past.
Using these objects as my starting point, I transformed them into jewellery, combining their industrial essence with the softness of cast textiles. This collection celebrates the history embedded in these materials, giving them a new purpose and extending their story. Each piece is a reflection of nostalgia and transformation, merging the past with the present. Through this collection, I hope to share the beauty of repurposing and the charm of breathing new life into the forgotten.
My current work
My current "Flora" work focuses on textiles, a medium that brings me immense joy as I transform the softness and delicacy of fabric into striking, metal forms. I’m particularly drawn to the intricate textures of embroidery and the endless possibilities for reimagining them in new and unexpected ways.
Working with textiles offers a dynamic and intuitive process. I can bend, cut, stitch, or wrap the fabric directly onto the body in an instant, letting ideas take shape organically. This freedom allows me to explore, refine, or even abandon concepts quickly, keeping the creative process fresh and alive.
To elevate these designs, I often incorporate wax, which offers incredible versatility. Wax allows me to seamlessly add structural elements like shanks or jump rings, transforming a simple piece of fabric into a finished pendant or ring. It also provides a fluid medium to further develop my designs, enabling my ideas to flow naturally and take on forms I hadn’t initially imagined.
Through this interplay of textiles and wax, I find endless inspiration and opportunities for innovation, creating pieces that merge the delicate and the durable in beautifully unexpected ways.
One of a kind
Each piece I create is truly one of a kind, shaped by the materials, inspiration, and process in that singular moment. I don’t replicate or create copies, as I believe each object carries its own story and character that cannot be reproduced. The imperfections in found objects, the subtle differences in textiles, and the spontaneous decisions made during the crafting process ensure that every design has its own identity. This approach allows my work to remain deeply personal and unique, offering something entirely original to those who connect with it.
Materials
The materials I work with are as varied as the inspirations behind them. My pieces often incorporate textiles, wax, and metals, but I also have a deep appreciation for found objects. Whether walking along the beach or through a forest, I’m always on the lookout for treasures that tell a story—weathered shells, fragments of driftwood, rusted nails, or forgotten scraps of metal. These discoveries, shaped by time and the elements, hold a unique beauty and history that I aim to preserve and transform in my work. Combining these materials with the softness of fabric, the fluidity of wax, and the permanence of metal allows me to create pieces that bridge the organic and the crafted, the past and the present. Each object and material adds its own voice, contributing to the narrative of my designs.
Inspired, but never copied
In my work, inspiration comes from many sources—textures, nature, found objects, and the stories they carry—but I never aim to copy. Instead, I distil the essence of what inspires me and translate it into something uniquely my own. Whether it’s the intricate patterns of embroidery, the organic forms of nature, or the character of a weathered object, each piece is a reinterpretation rather than a reproduction. Even when someone requests a similar ring in a different size, I approach it as an opportunity to create a new design that captures the spirit of the original while ensuring it remains a one-of-a-kind piece. This philosophy ensures that my creations are always authentic, personal, and infused with my evolving artistic vision.
